CIRCLE DANCING LED BY JULIE JONES
Tuesday, September 10, 6:30-8 p.m.
Sylvan Community Center

We do traditional dances from around the world (Greece, Israel, Scotland, Russia, France, North and South America, etc.) Dances range from slow and meditative to quite lively. (We'll be doing slower dances this time).

No partner, dance experience, or special skills of any kind are needed. Each dance is taught just before it is done. Beginners are always welcome.

Circle Dance is a means for relaxation, joy, growth, awareness and healing. Also known as Sacred Dance or World Dance, it was birthed at Findhorn, a spiritual community in Scotland. $15 suggested Love Offering.

POTLUCK AND POTLATCH
Sunday, September 15, 11:15 a.m.

Sylvan Community Center.

Please bring a dish to share or put some money in the pot!

The Potlatch is also called a celebration of giving. It is based on northwestern American native customs, and consists of bringing things to give away. They can be new, they can be old, they can be handmade, they can be whatever you are moved to give. You are, of course, invited to take those things that others have brought. Come and explore this ancient prosperity practice on the third Sunday of each month.

VIDEO CIRCLE: TED TALKS BY BRENÉ BROWN
Sunday, September 22, 11:15 a.m.
Sylvan Community Center

Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light. True belonging doesn't require us to change who we are. It requires us to be who we are.

After exploring the teachings of Dr. Brown during the Sept 15 and Sept 22 services, we share two of her TED talks at our video circle: "The Power of Vulnerability" and "Listening to Shame."
